#301 - I am a Child of GodThis song, a well-known favourite of many, was originally written for a Primary presentation in 1957. Sister Camilla Kimball said, "It is the whole gospel plan in a few simple words." An additional verse not included in the hymnal reads: "I am a child of God, His promises are sure. Celestial glory shall be mine if I can but endure."

#1007 - As Bread is BrokenThis sacrament hymn is one of the few hymns released digitally in advance of the publication of a new global hymnbook. The words and music are by Stephen Reynolds, who said that he hopes that his hymn will help members to focus more on their covenants and the enabling power they receive through that sacred bond.

#2 - The Spirit of GodThis significant and beloved hymn is closely tied with important events in Church history, such as the dedication of the Kirtland Temple in 1836. The hymn is sung today at every temple dedication and is often used in conferences and occasions that call for a strong expression of rejoicing.

#158 - Before Thee, Lord, I Bow My HeadThis hymn articulates the feelings of full hearts and renewed resolution to prolong the companionship of the Lord's Spirit and achieve higher spiritual goals. The hymn is a prayer that we may retain our spiritual resolve: "Oh help me Lord, lest I forget".
