Message from the PresidencyWelcome to Primary 2024!
We are so excited to be studying the gospel of Jesus Christ, in the Book of Mormon this year! We have an amazing team of teachers, including activity day, and music leaders. We are so impressed by their dedication, preparation, and love for all of the children. We are so grateful for all that you do as parents teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in your homes. It really shines forth in the comments, and enthusiasm the kids have during class time, and music time. We know that as we all grow our testimonies of the Savior through reading the Book of Mormon in our homes, we will each be able to support, uplift and edify each other. Thanks again for bringing your children to Church and to the activities we have during the week. We are going to have an awesome 2024 in Primary! Announcements & LinksPrimary Activities
Primary Activities are held on Wednesday night from 7:00-8:30pm at the Heritage Center. Group Girls and Group Boys will alternate weeks. Girls on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Boys on the 2nd and 4th. If there is a fifth Wednesday in the month, there will be no activity. __________________________________________ Click here for Primary material on the official Church website. Primary ScheduleOur Primary starts at 11:10 with the children going directly to where their class meets in a specific section of the gym (you may notice class signs posted on the walls). Class lessons are approximately 20 minutes. We gather together at the half hour for 10 minutes where announcements, birthdays and the child's talk take place. If you wanted to be there for your child's talk. At 11:40 we have Music Time until 11:59am which closes with an invited child giving the closing prayer. We prefer the children to not leave the gym until a parent comes for them. There are others using the building concurrently and we want to keep the halls as quiet for them as possible.
