For the Strength of Youth 2025: Hello parents and youth! Thinking about FSY? Since our stake is off-cycle this year, Bishops can start approving youth starting February 27th, 2025 (this upcoming Thursday). Youth that will be 14-18 by the end of their chosen session can begin registering on March 13, 2025. Youth can register for any session in Canada with open space, but there are several in close proximity to us this year: Calgary I: June 30-July 5 Calgary II: July 7-12 Calgary III: July 14-19 Edmonton I: July 21-26 Edmonton II: July 28-Aug 2 Here is the link for the session information and availability: https://fsyemployment.ce.byu.edu/schedule Since we are off-cycle this year, there will be no organized transportation to any of the sessions. If you have any questions, please direct them to Janelle and Wesley Tews (Stake FSY Representatives). Thank you! Janelle and Wesley Tews
Onoway Ward Youth
Sunday Lessons after Sacrament Meeting: 2nd Sunday of the Month – Combined YM & YW lesson 4th Sunday of the Month – Separate YM & YW lessons Activities: Wednesday nights from 6:30-8 pm at the Onoway Heritage Center
Onoway Ward Primary
Activities: Primary Activities are held on Wednesday night from 6:30-8 pm at the Heritage Center. Group Girls and Group Boys will alternate weeks. Girls on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Boys on the 2nd and 4th. If there is a fifth Wednesday in the month, there will be no activity. Sunday Schedule: Our Primary starts at 11:10 with the children going directly to where their class meets in a specific section of the gym. Class lessons are approximately 20 minutes. We gather together at the half hour for 10 minutes where announcements, birthdays and the child's talk take place. At 11:40 we have Music Time until 11:59am which closes with an invited child giving the closing prayer. We prefer the children to not leave the gym until a parent comes for them. There are others using the building concurrently and we want to keep the halls as quiet for them as possible.

Addiction Recovery Meetings
You are not alone. If you are struggling with addiction or a problematic behaviour, you may feel trapped and fear that you will never be free. You can discover support and hope by attending a recovery support group meeting. No referral is needed to attend ARP.
In the Lago Lindo Ward, we have a team of enthusiastic interpreters. In sacrament meetings and stake conferences, we provide members with simultaneous interpretation from English to Spanish. We are a dedicated lot, but we are few in number. If you grew up speaking Spanish or spoke Spanish on your mission, we would love an hour of your time to explain to you our mission, our methods, and our training pattern.
No up-front commitment is required. After hearing our presentation, you can decide how involved you would like to be. We offer coaching, learning at home, and practices in near-real situations leading up to your first assignment and beyond.
We can testify that interpretation work is a powerful opportunity to serve and to experience the gifts of the Spirit.
To learn more, please contact Bishop Denys Cuevas and/or Bro. Michael Paquette via e-mail or text message at the numbers appearing in the on-line directory.
